A small rule with room to think.
Crosswise turns solitaire into a spatial sequencing puzzle. Tap an arrow and it searches its row or column for the first perpendicular arrow of the same color. When the pair connects, both arrows—and everything between them—disappear.
The rule takes seconds to learn, but the order matters. A long clear can open the board or remove the pair you planned to use next. Read the grid, preserve future moves, and work toward a clean finish at your own pace.
